Happy Easter from the Hartford Care family
It is Easter this weekend and all our care homes are looking forward to celebrating this special time of the year with lots of activities, many of them involving Easter eggs.
As our main Easter activity involving all the care homes, Newland House in Witney challenged everyone to create the most beautiful Easter bonnets to put on display for judging.
Residents and teams came up with the most eggs-quisite bonnets, many of them decorated with flowers and Easter chicks.
The winner of the challenge was West Cliff Hall which made the biggest Easter bonnet any of us had ever seen!
In second place was The Elms in Bembridge, whose residents and staff put on a spectacular fashion show to model their fantastic bonnets. You can view their video here
Third place was given to Malden House in Sidmouth, whose gorgeous hats featured lots of flowers and feathers.
This past year has been a very challenging and difficult time for us all, so we are delighted that this Easter, we are also able to welcome back residents’ loved ones for pre-booked garden visits and indoor visits.
If you would like more details about how to organise a visit, please contact the care home where your loved one is a resident or view our latest Covid-19 guidelines here
The Hartford Care family wishes everyone a very happy and peaceful Easter.
