Hartford Care’s CEO Sean Gavin celebrates 20 years with company
A major milestone has been attained by Sean Gavin, CEO of Hartford Care, who is celebrating his 20th anniversary with the company.
Sean was appointed finance director with the then Whites Motor Group. After his arrival, Whites Group changed its commercial direction from the motor industry to care homes – Hartford Care was formed, and Sean took the lead as founding director and shareholder.
Since then, Sean has been instrumental in growing and shaping Hartford Care which now has a portfolio of 15 care homes located across southern England. The company now employs over 600 staff at the care homes and at its Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Under the stewardship of Sean and his wife Jo, the company’s Brand Director, Hartford Care, whose core values are care, comfort and companionship, has built a reputation for providing consistent, high quality residential, dementia and nursing care.
It also strives to maintain a true family ethos throughout the business to enhance the care of its residents, their families and its team members.
Reflecting on his two decades, Sean says: “I have been so fortunate to work with such a group of values-driven individuals. It has been a remarkable 20 years but none of this could have happened without the support of an incredibly hard-working and dedicated team. Everybody has and continues to work tirelessly towards achieving our core goals.
“I am so very proud of all of them and how they continue to focus on our goals of delivering the best possible care for our residents, especially during these very challenging times.”
To mark his two decades with the company, head office staff, together with residents and teams at the care homes, made special celebratory videos, which were shared with him via the internet.
