An outstanding care home in Ryde. Providing personalised residential, dementia, nursing and respite care, Highfield is a beautiful period home in the heart of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Originally a Victorian gentleman’s residence, the home has been thoughtfully extended to provide a purpose-built extension for those living with dementia and has been carefully restored to create a warm, family home providing a safe, appealing and comfortable environment for our residents.
UPDATE: at Hartford Care, we’ve been making some home improvements to all of our existing properties and Highfield has benefited from the following investments. A full refurbishment of five bedrooms with new ensuite wet rooms, painting of communal corridors, new artwork throughout the home, and the installation of solar panels. Ongoing work includes- a complete refurbishment of communal areas and corridors. Our facilities team will continue carrying out improvement works to all of our existing homes in such a way that residents are disturbed as little as possible. As always, our goal is to improve the lives of our residents by increasing comfort, activity options, and happiness.
Our fully trained and passionate team have carefully created a special nursing home where they ensure our residents are not only safe and well cared for, but are also happy and content. Our aim is for our residents to enjoy every single day, with a full range of activities and delicious home-cooked meals.
