At Hartford Care, we believe in the power of community. Our commitment goes beyond providing exceptional care in our homes – it extends into the neighbourhoods we’re part of. That’s why we have launched the Hartford Care Community Grant; to support the local heroes making a difference every day.
Through this initiative, we’re offering grants of up to £1,000 to support community-led projects across the South of England. Whether you are a local charity, volunteer group, school, or grassroots organisation, if your project promotes wellbeing, connection, or positive local impact – we’d love to hear from you.
Could your project benefit from our support? Are you working to bring people together, enhance quality of life, or create lasting change in your community?
Apply now and let’s build stronger, more connected communities – together.

“The Hartford Care Community Grant is our way of recognising the incredible work being done by charities, community groups, and local organisations. Whether it’s a team of volunteers supporting vulnerable people, a local group running vital activities, or an organisation that’s always there when the community needs them, these are the pillars of our society. Through this £1,000 grant, we want to say thank you and give something back to support those who support others.”

The grant is open to charities, community groups, non-profit organisations, and local initiatives based in or serving communities in the South of England. We welcome applications from both small grassroots groups and more established organisations.
We support projects that promote wellbeing, connection, inclusion, and positive change at a local level. This could include:

Deadlines vary by location. When you select the application form for your area, the relevant closing date will be clearly shown.
Applications are reviewed by a small panel from Hartford Care, based on community impact, clarity of purpose, and alignment with our values. We aim to notify applicants of the outcome within 4–6 weeks of the application closing.
We ask that each organisation submit one application at a time. If you have several ideas, we recommend focusing on the one that would benefit most from immediate funding.
If you have any questions about the grant or the application process, please contact our team at marketing@hartfordcare.co.uk — we’re happy to help!
