Set in extensive and peaceful grounds in Hawkhurst, Kent, Hawkhurst House is a purpose-built care home offering comfort, dignity, and independence for people with nursing needs. Our specialist Long Term Care Unit provides a true home for life, particularly for those living with dementia or physical frailty.

At Hawkhurst House, care is always personal. We deliver 24-hour nursing support tailored to each resident, in a warm, family atmosphere. Loved ones are welcome at any time – whether to share a meal, spend quality time together, or simply drop in for a visit – making our home feel just like theirs. We also assist families navigating NHS Continuing Healthcare or Local Authority funding, ensuring everyone can access the highest standard of care.

Unlike traditional nursing homes, we offer Care Suites – these are more spacious private rooms, each with  its own kitchenette and living area. These thoughtfully designed spaces promote independence, provide a true sense of “own home,” and make it easy for friends and family to visit in comfort.

At Hawkhurst House, our long term care suites are carefully designed to combine practicality with comfort. Each room is ensuite, with some including their own kitchenette, giving residents the flexibility to maintain a sense of independence. We encourage everyone to make their space their own with personal belongings, creating a warm and familiar home environment. in addition Life at Hawkhurst House is vibrant and varied. Residents can look forward to regular entertainment – from live music and dance performances to interactive shows and visiting entertainers. Mealtimes are an important part of daily life. Our in-house chef creates a range of delicious options every day, with freshly baked cakes and treats served each afternoon.
