Bethel House is a welcoming care home in Barton on Sea, near New Milton, Hampshire, offering residential care, dementia support and respite stays in a peaceful, homely setting. Set within beautifully landscaped gardens including an established orchard, we are just a five minute walk from Barton on Sea beach with views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

We have 31 comfortable bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities, spread across a characterful home that feels more like a family house than an institution. Three cosy lounges, a restaurant-style dining room and lifestyle kitchens give residents space to socialise, enjoy meals together or simply relax.

Our experienced team provides personalised care shaped around each resident’s needs, routines and preferences. Whether your loved one needs everyday support, specialist dementia care or a short respite break, they will be treated with warmth, dignity and respect.

Bethel House has strong ties to the local community, with regular visits from Barton Preschool and Barton Baptist Church. We would love to show you around.

"I am proud to be at Bethel House. It is important to me that the residents, their families and the staff team feel welcome, cared for and supported to enable them to build good relationships and happy memories for the future. We will be working together to support the residents sensory needs to enable them to have a holistic wellbeing while living in our home. Our home offers a wonderfully cosy, comfortable and spacious environment, boasting three lounge areas and a large restaurant-style dining room. The 31 en-suite bedrooms are well proportioned and elegantly decorated. All the rooms are all fully furnished and equipped with a digital TV, telephone point and a 24-hour call bell.
