Ashgrove offers 50 bedrooms, in a historic building with real character and charm. Residents can personalise their rooms with their own furniture and belongings to make the space feel like home. There are four communal lounges offering different atmospheres, from lively spaces for activities to quieter corners for relaxation, plus a welcoming dining room where fresh, home-cooked meals are served daily. We provide residential care, specialist dementia support and respite breaks, and can help arrange visits from healthcare and personal care professionals when needed. The gardens offer stunning 360-degree countryside views with seating areas for fresh air and time with visiting family.
Things to do around Ashgrove Care Home
Ashgrove shares its peaceful Gresford setting with sister home Ashleigh Court, with beautiful countryside views and easy access to local villages and towns. Gresford village is home to All Saints Church and its famous bells, one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. For family outings, Erddig offers 1,200 acres of National Trust parkland and gardens just a short drive away. Chester is 20 minutes by car, with riverside walks, historic city walls and independent cafés. Wrexham town centre has markets, shops and plenty of places for a coffee and cake.
