An outstanding care home near Alton. Located in the village Four Marks, East Hampshire, provides personalised residential, dementia, and respite care in a delightful residential care home with a warm, homely and caring atmosphere. Set amidst nearly three acres of manicured gardens with a stunning patio area, Belford House is furnished to a high standard and provides cosy, safe and comfortable surroundings for those who call it ‘home’.
UPDATE: at Hartford Care, we’ve been making some home improvements to all of our existing properties and Belford House has benefited from the following investments. A full refurbishment of two communal bathrooms, and the installation of a state-of-the-art hydro spa bath. Ongoing works include- decoration throughout all communal areas and corridors, new carpets throughout, new dining room servery, new conservatory, and new windows throughout. Our facilities team will continue carrying out improvement works to all of our existing homes in such a way that residents are disturbed as little as possible. As always, our goal is to improve the lives of our residents by increasing comfort, activity options, and happiness.
Belford House benefits from strong management and committed team members who ensure residents are not only safe and well cared for, but also happy and content. Our Facilities
Our home is full of charm and offers three attractive sitting rooms, a large light and airy dining room and a hairdressing salon. All but one of our 42 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and we also have available several assisted bathrooms with hoisted baths. All bedrooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with a TV and telephone point. Within our grounds there is a spacious patio area for residents to sit and enjoy and, for those with green fingers, there are raised flower beds and a potting shed. We are set in a stunning location, close to local amenities, GP surgeries, shops and churches.
Things to do around Belford House
Around Belford House, there is a wide variety of places to see and activities in which to partake. Less than five miles away is the market town of Alton, which has a small local history museum, an art gallery, cinema, library, shops and cafés. Our home borders on the edge of South Downs National Park and a stop on the Pilgrims' Way that leads from Winchester to Canterbury. Other places of interest include the village of Chawton, the town of Alresford and the city of Winchester. We enjoy close links in our village community, with regular visits from local nurseries and primary schools and coffee mornings with the local Church of England.
