Broughton Hall is a warm, family-focused care home in Wrexham where residents are supported to live life on their own terms. Based in the heart of New Broughton, we offer residential care, specialist dementia support and flexible respite stays which are always shaped around what matters most to your loved one.
This is a place where people are genuinely known, not just cared for. Our team takes time to understand each resident’s personality, routines and preferences, so support feels personal rather than one-size-fits-all. Independence is encouraged, and there’s always room for the things that make your loved one who they are.
Every new resident is introduced to a dedicated team member who helps them settle in, introduces them to others, and keeps you updated on how they’re getting on. It’s a simple approach, but families tell us it makes all the difference, especially during those first few weeks.
We’d love to welcome you for a visit. Come and see the home, meet the team, and find out if Broughton Hall is the right fit for your family.

Landscaped Gardens
Broughton Hall offers 33 en-suite bedrooms, including two double rooms for couples or close relatives who wish to stay together. This is a rarity in care homes. Residents can personalise their rooms with photos, furniture and familiar belongings. Three spacious lounges provide room for group activities, visiting entertainers and celebrations, while two bright sun lounges offer quieter spots to relax or chat. We provide residential care, specialist dementia support, respite breaks and day care, and can help arrange visits from healthcare and personal care professionals when needed. The fully accessible garden is level throughout, with paths and seating areas for gentle walks and fresh air.
Wrexham offers plenty of options for gentle outings and family visits. Erddig, a National Trust property just a short drive away, has 1,200 acres of parkland, landscaped gardens, and a welcoming café. It's ideal for a relaxed afternoon with loved ones. Closer to home, Bellevue Park provides a peaceful Edwardian setting for a stroll, while Alyn Waters Country Park has riverside paths and woodland walks. For those who enjoy a little adventure, the historic town of Llangollen and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct are within easy reach for memorable day trips.
Our team takes pride in building genuine relationships with residents and families. They learn what matters to each person, including their background, preferences and the routines that help them feel at home, and weave this into everyday care. It's a warm, supportive group who bring kindness, humour and professionalism to everything they do, whether that's helping with activities, supporting families through difficult decisions, or simply sitting down for a chat. If you're passionate about care and looking for a rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you. Visit our careers page to see current opportunities.
