Located on the outskirts of Hythe in Southampton, West Cliff Hall is a beautiful and majestic care home providing personalised residential, dementia and respite care in expansive landscaped gardens, overlooking Hythe Marina and Southampton Water. The spectacular views are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike, offering relaxation and inspiration in equal measure, making it a happy and peaceful place to call home.
UPDATE: at Hartford Care, we’ve been making some home improvements to all of our existing properties and West Cliff Hall has benefited from the following investments. Tarmacking to the car park, installation of solar panels, and refurbishment of communal bathroom. Ongoing works include- painting of communal areas, and painting of the external facade. Our facilities team will continue carrying out improvement works to all of our existing homes in such a way that residents are disturbed as little as possible. As always, our goal is to improve the lives of our residents by increasing comfort, activity options, and happiness.

West Cliff Hall is surrounded by plenty of landscaped and accessible garden space, occupying an enviable and elevated position overlooking Hythe Marina and Southampton Docks. Our home has been beautifully restored to provide a modern, luxurious and spacious home comprising 59 en-suite bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and fully furnished. The home boasts several bright and spacious lounge areas, and an airy dining room overlooking the marina. There is also an activities room, a music room and a lifestyle kitchen to encourage residents to maintain their independence.
Things to do around West Cliff Hall
West Cliff Hall is within easy reach of the New Forest with its numerous attractions such as the picturesque village of Beaulieu, home of the National Motor Museum, and Lymington where there is a regular ferry service to the Isle of Wight. Calshot and Lepe beaches, both commanding views across to the Isle of Wight, are a short drive away, as are the world-famous Exbury Gardens. We enjoy a host of regular visitors including representatives from local churches, a hairdresser and we also run a Memory Cafe to which we invite members of the local community.
