Celebrating the Opening of Two New State-of-the-Art Hartford Care Homes

New Care Homes in Hampshire: Moorhill & Alton Place Now Open

We are proud to announce the launch of two exceptional new care homes in Hampshire, Moorhill in Southampton and Alton Place in Alton, further expanding Hartford Care’s commitment to creating caring communities across the region.

Moorhill, Southampton – Officially Opened 21st July

Located on Moorhill Road, Southampton, Moorhill officially opens its doors to residents on Monday, 21st July. To mark this special occasion, we are hosting a community open day on Thursday, 31st July, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Local families are warmly invited to join us and enjoy live entertainment, a bouncy castle, face painting for the children, delicious food and refreshments, and guided tours of our beautiful new home. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet the team and experience Moorhill first-hand.

Moorhill features 70 modern en suite bedrooms, designed to be personalised with residents’ touches, as well as a café, hair and beauty salon, spacious lounges, lifestyle kitchens, and landscaped gardens. The home will provide expert-led residential, dementia, respite, day and end-of-life care, all within a welcoming, purpose-built environment.

To celebrate the launch, Moorhill is offering an exclusive introductory offerofup to £300 off per week for the first 12 weeksfor new permanent residents. Additionally, if you book a viewing before September 7th, you’ll receive acomplimentary cream tea for two.

Alton Place, Alton – Now Open and Welcoming New Residents

Further north in the historic market town of Alton, Alton Place, our brand-new care home on Winchester Road, is now officially open and welcoming its first residents.

Alton Place offers 67 en suite bedrooms, alongside an impressive range of communal facilities including a cinema room, café, hair and beauty salon, lifestyle kitchens, and multiple lounges and dining areas, all surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and set beside a new public open space.

As with Moorhill, Alton Place provides residential, dementia, day, end of life and respite care, delivered by a compassionate team dedicated to Hartford Care’s ‘home from home’ ethos.
