We’ve been enjoying a very busy Autumn of activities and events at Hartford Care.

Among the initiatives in which we have been participating is the Proud to Care Campaign which was launched in September to attract more people in Devon and Cornwall into caring roles.

Featured in the campaign is 83-year-old Jim Dixon who is a resident at our Malden House in Sidmouth.

He and carer Jan McGuire have been seen widely in the video Proud to Care produced for the campaign, and both of them were interviewed on BBC Radio Devon and appeared in the Western Morning News.

Malden House Manager Agnieszka Orlowska is now a Proud to Care Ambassador who will be using her own extensive knowledge, passion and experience to encourage people in Devon to consider careers in caring.
