We are pleased to announce the appointment of Abdul Rehman as our new Chief Financial Officer. Abdul brings almost two decades of board-level finance and leadership experience across the healthcare, social care and housing sectors, including G15 housing associations.

Abdul was most recently Chief Financial Officer at Integrated Healthcare Management Group, where he led financial strategy and governance, M&A, treasury and business transformation across a complex portfolio of care homes and mental health hospitals. His experience spans acquisition-led growth, multi-site integration, investor and stakeholder engagement, and the development of scalable finance functions to support strategic growth and long-term value creation.
Kevin Shaw, Chief Executive of Hartford Care, comments:
“Even as Hartford Care expands at pace, increasing our capabilities and service offering in new locations across England and Wales, we haven’t lost sight of our commitment to a ‘home from home’ ethos and to building lasting partnerships across our communities. Abdul’s expertise and experience will support the ongoing delivery of our ambitious growth strategy and, most importantly, the care we provide to our residents.”
Abdul Rehman, our new Chief Financial Officer, comments:
“I am delighted to have joined Hartford Care at such an exciting stage in its journey. I look forward to working with Kevin, the Board and colleagues across the business to support the next phase of Hartford Care’s growth, and help ensure that financial excellence continues to underpin an exceptional care offering.”
Abdul’s appointment further strengthens our senior leadership team as we continue to grow and invest in high-quality care across our 45 homes in England and Wales.
