The team at Hartford Care’s Boulters Lock care home in Maidenhead raised over £400 for Dementia UK, during its series of challenges and events held at the home last week.

On Wednesday 3rd May, the Boulters Lock team held a car wash, bingo, afternoon tea and a raffle, alongside a 500-mile ride on an exercise bike. Gurmeet Ubhie, Home Manager at Boulters Lock, says: “I am very proud of our whole team who made the event a great success and would like to thank our wonderful residents and their families and friends who came together to enjoy the activities and support the home in our challenge to raise money for Dementia UK. We exceeded our target by over £100 and I’m thrilled to be able to support such a worthy charity that is very close to all our hearts at Boulters Lock.”

Boulters Lock is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The home is set in an impressive late Victorian building with many original features and offers dementia care, residential care, respite care, day care and end of life care across its 32 en suite bedrooms.
