Respite Care
At Hartford Care, all of our homes offer respite care for those who may need a short break. There are many reasons why respite care might be a suitable solution for you or your loved one.

What to expect
Anyone who comes to stay with us is welcomed into our homes and treated as part of the ‘Hartford Care Family’. You or your loved one will benefit from the same care, comfort and companionship that all our permanent residents receive.
And as with all our care, those staying with us – even for a short period of time – will receive a tailored plan of care, based on individual needs.
When respite care can help
Respite stays can support many different situations — from a short break managing at home alone, to recuperation after surgery or illness, or simply giving full-time carers time to rest knowing their loved one is safe and well looked after.

It’s also a lifeline for full-time carers who deserve a little break but want the reassurance their loved one is in safe hands and well cared for.”
