Welcome to Malden House, a home of which I am extremely proud of in its entirety. Malden House wholly encompasses the values of our Hartford Care group by supporting our residents, visitors and team to create a welcoming, home-from-home experience. I am hugely passionate about empowering our community to pursue their hobbies and provide opportunities to learn new skills and interests. Our team excel in their kindness, compassion and knowledge for their roles but are encouraged to welcome new opportunities for learning and growth. We have strong relationships with our multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community, helping us to provide our residents with holistic, person-centered care that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.

The original house was built in 1820, and its character still comes through in the proportions of the rooms and the detailing throughout. Bedrooms are generously sized and furnished with comfort in mind, many with en-suite facilities and garden views. A more recent extension added further bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms, along with two new lounge and dining areas, giving residents more space to relax, spend time together and enjoy social events.
Outside, the gardens provide plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, with patio seating and a summer house offering welcoming places to sit and relax. A herb trug sits within easy reach for residents who like to keep their hands busy.
