Smarter care, quietly in the background

At Woodchurch House, we’re proud to use Teton, an advanced AI-powered monitoring system that helps our care team provide even more personalised, proactive care by discreetly monitoring changes in movement, sleep, and daily routines.

There are no cameras, wearable devices or intrusive technology – just intelligent support working quietly in the background to protect each resident’s privacy and dignity. When something shifts, our team is alerted early and can respond proactively, rather than waiting for a problem to become obvious.

For families, it’s an added layer of reassurance, knowing their loved one benefits from technology that helps keep them safe while preserving the comfort and independence of home.

Community

The community and location

Woodchurch House is on Brook Street in the heart of Woodchurch village, close to Ashford and Tenterden. We enjoy being part of village life, with regular visits to Woodchurch Memorial Hall, relaxed brunches at the local coffee shop and friendly get-togethers with neighbours.

The historic Woodchurch Windmill and village life museum are also nearby, along with the post office and local medical facilities. It means residents can continue to enjoy connections with the wider community around them.

From day one we have found the service excellent, helpful staff, lovely surroundings and it all combined to make the transition seamless for all of the family and more importantly for the person at the centre of the move

Woodchurch House

Although Dad was only in Woodchurch House for a short time, we were really impressed. The staff were all caring, efficient and really nice, we knew dad was well cared for.
The rooms are light and spacious and very clean. Both my husband and I left today after clearing dad’s room and said when our time comes, Woodchurch House is where we are going.
